Brand-grade floors. Installed overnight.

Retail flooring lives at the intersection of brand standard, traffic durability, and zero tolerance for closing the store — the right install runs nights, finishes before the morning crew arrives, and lasts the lease without refresh..

— TL;DR

The five-second answer.

  • Polished concrete: flagship and big-box standard. Brand-neutral, durable.
  • Metallic epoxy: boutique signature finish. Brand color tuning.
  • Stamped overlay: themed retail, restaurants-in-retail, experiential.
  • Night-install standard. Store opens at 10 a.m.
— The problem

Closing a retail store for a floor install costs the same as a remodel.

A flagship store loses real revenue per day closed — the math forces a contractor who can phase install around operating hours. Polished concrete and metallic systems install nightly with HEPA dust collection and light containment, finish before the morning crew arrives, and the store opens at 10 a.m. with no visible disruption. We've installed across major retail brands without losing a single trading day.

What we engineer around.

Substrate, environment, downtime — every spec gets evaluated before product is selected.

Night phased install

Crews 10 p.m.–6 a.m. with HEPA dust, light containment, barrier walls. Store opens 10 a.m. without disruption.

Brand color match

Metallic basecoats tuned to brand spec. Pigmented overlays open the full Pantone range.

Wheel & cart traffic

Polished concrete is the right hardness for shopping cart wheels and rolling fixtures.

Sheen vs. lighting

Sheen reviewed under the actual store lighting design — high-gloss can read as glare under spot lighting.

Seamless transitions

FOH-to-stockroom and dressing-room transitions detailed; no thresholds where carts or strollers catch.

Tenant improvement spec

Floor work coordinated with TI schedule, mall management, and adjacent tenant access.

— Typical timeline

Phased nightly. Typical 5,000 sf retail floor: 4–6 nights of polishing or 5–7 nights for metallic.

— Typical cost range

$5–$14/sq ft installed. Polishing at the low end; metallic boutique at the high end.

Final spec quoted on-site after substrate evaluation.

— Frequently asked

Specifics matter.

Can you install without closing the store?
+
Yes — phased nightly install with crews 10 p.m.–6 a.m., HEPA dust collection, light containment, and barrier walls separating work zone from the rest of the store. Store opens at 10 a.m. without visible disruption. Polished concrete works particularly well for this — no off-gassing topcoat, no overnight cure that blocks the area at opening. Most of our retail work runs this way.
What's the brand standard for big-box vs. boutique?
+
Big-box and flagship stores typically spec polished concrete — brand-neutral, durable, 50-year life, low maintenance. Boutique and luxury retail more often spec metallic epoxy or pigmented polished overlays where the floor is a designed element of the store identity. We can match either standard and have done multi-store programs at both ends of the spectrum.
Will the floor handle shopping cart traffic?
+
Yes — polished concrete is one of the most durable surfaces for cart wheel traffic, far better than tile or LVP. The densifier-treated surface doesn't dimple under repeated wheel load and the wear pattern develops evenly rather than concentrating at high-traffic lanes. Lifespan in a working flagship: 25+ years before re-densify.
Can you tune the floor to our brand color?
+
Yes — metallic epoxy basecoats can be color-matched to brand spec (we've matched specific retail brand colors in custom-blended metallics). Pigmented polishable overlays open the full Pantone range when polishing exposes a substrate that doesn't read on-brand. Color sample is approved in the actual store lighting before pour.
